So interested observer missed the Beach Bums and their Beach Balls which are the largest, or was it too big to list?
Plus snooker players have the hardest balls!
Also of note is the surface contour of each type of ball:
-Beach Ball is smooth.........Beach Bums don't care if they get a grip on the ball
-Basketballs have a pebbled finish .......players use this to impart English and direction to thrown basketballs
-Bowling Balls are smooth..........but players need finger holes for control
-Footballs are way out of round but pebbled.......again players insist on a surface grip for control of direction and spin
-Baseballs, while perfectly round and grip-able.........have seams which again are used for control of spin, velocity, and aim
-Billiard Balls are perfectly round and smooth.......but very hard in order to transmit energy, spin, and direction upon collision with each other or the "rag"!
-Tennis balls are fuzzy and highly compressible........again in order to receive velocity, spin, and direction
-Golf Balls are hard, smooth with dimpled surfaces.......in order receive energy on impact and avoid spin and reduce air resistance
-Marbles are often opaque, very hard, and smooth.........since players like to finger them, bag them and trade them!
-Writing Pen Balls are so small they cannot be handled except in a holder.........and users want them to dribble ink on paper for control of of other users!
Now it's your turn to Ball the Jack on this Track, Mac!
What are you worrying for? You are not getting out of this life alive, dead don't hurt, getting there might, and in some cases, damn well should!
Plus during and after the next Ice Age, all of this infrastructure around us won't matter squat!
