Nation is depressed and market’s on verge of collapse

This is one of those times when I feel good about holding no equities whatsoever. Who needs the aggravation?

It also gives me the rare opportunity of being dispassionate and objective about what is going on; I have no dog in the hunt. Is the market about to explode to the upside? Will it collapse? Will it see-saw forever? Will it drift toward oblivion?

Dispassionate or not, I have no idea.
