DEBATE, dont argue.
AND..just cause its buried under a TON of BS, dont mean it isnt true.  The best way to discredit something is with TONS OF BS.

I wouldn't mind being a moderator for Cage Match but I have a full time job, a wife, and 2 little boys at home to deal with.  Actually, KD invited me to be a guest moderator a couple of years back and I didn't have enough free time back then either.

If you guys mention it on the DU website I am sure you will get some takers.  It's important to keep this site going because there is only so much information that the editors at DU can take in on a given day.  It's nice to have a site where we can contribute too.

I got invited back when I was single etc... but I just moved to a new home and until I get settled in I don't have time myself. I am hoping that once I get everything under control I can jump back into the swamp known as this forum.

For starters, I think that more use of the MRI investigational tool should be done using different participants in different sex act situations before any conclusions should be tentatively drawn. [Interesting project for voyeur researchers, too!] Ha ha ha

WHAT Im waiting for is the ability to discern IF' a person is in pain, and its location in the body.

Pain can be found, but its location, is harder to discover.  FIXING pain would be the marvel of the world.
Myself included, I am in pain a good bit of time.  taking pills, COVERS the pain, and does not heal it.
Pain can control your mind and body.  and you may not know you are IN PAIN..
Pain pills on the other hand, can make things Clear, but does not undo the Harm that may be caused by the pain.

IF you have a tolerance to pain, you dont mind/worry/feel those OTHER pains that could mean something is happening.  Taking pills, may remove your tolerance, and you can HURT all over your body, and not notice that 1-2 pains that are damaging.

ECA, some MRI's do identify pain sources, but not all location sources. I have had one full body MRI this past Summer to attempt to locate such. It was not successful. The congenital dislocated 3rd Lumbar Vertibrae did not show inflamation in and about the addjacent nerve bundles. So the frequent pains that keep migrating to various places in my lower limbs and hips is currently attributed to diabetic neuropathy. Yet a late Summer test called a Red Laser Tomography of my Cornea and Retinas do not reveal any diabetic neuropathy at this time. The eyes are the first location ion the body to reveal such damamge. I am now trying more seriously to reduce my blood glucose levels with increasing Metformin doses, which is working but have a way to go. Overall weight reduction is another target that is even more difficult!
 I could have had a 2nd MRI, but did not want the risk of having to pay for this expensive procedure. We do get "free" medicare in Canada [it is essentially paid for from our high income tax and goods/services taxes] only up to a point, and I cannot afford to find that limit! Our MRI dept's are working 24/7/nearly 365! And some new machines are being purchased and installed, plus technicians trained. but like our whole system, this area is overworked with demand for service.
Pain is an important body function which alerts one to the fact that you have an injury, infection, or auto-immune reaction, etc. And not all is known about how pain works or is generated. Waht it does do is keep one from doing additional damage in many cases. It can be so severe as to paralyze, and panick the victim.
I occasionally get a pain in the neck/head/shoulder that is semi-paralytic. Upon reporting this to my family doctor, he replied to my worry about the possibilty of an immanent stroke, " I am not worried about that, because by now if you were going to have a stroke you would have already had it!" That was not an explanation of what it was caused by, so only slightly reassuring! One solution would be some Bicardi's in my Timmy's [White Rum in my Black coffee {Timmy Horton's Java} but that too I cannot afford in more ways than one]!

and REALLY, there are only about 4 people that are regulars here, besides the Spammers..

and REALLY, there are only about 4 people that are regulars here,====Quite right you are ECA.  I have the barest of experience but it seems to me the blogs/forums I attend either have 4-5 regulars, too small to support an active exchange of ideas, OR--it has hundreds of responders unknown as to regularity, making an active exchange of ideas a rare occurrence.  No happy medium.

Every large site is heavy on the censorship turning them into posting walls.  Each and every posting what they think--no interaction.

And on this website, the last "dispute" was between "me" and our moderator.  HE wasn't happy.  I don't think any of us were on the issue of the moment.  But absent ILLEGAL activity--why censor anything?  Is more needed than a "report to moderator" button and let it rip?  Must the whole blog-0-sphere be Huff Posted?

Soooooo - ECA when Obtuser was calling me out for having shit for brains==you did nothing about it.  Does the fact that I have shit for brains play into your decision to let us fight it out between ourselves, or do you think truth in personal attacks is a valid comment and thereby an exception to these rules you enforce?
