Problem today with firefox, started 3-4 hours ago.
« on: June 03, 2006, 06:10:56 PM » by Milo
About 30% of the blog is on the left hand side is off the screen. Also an old story at the top of the blog. I looked at the blog earlier and it was fine. As of about 3-4 hours ago this started.

I've got the same version. Also nothing different here in CM or any other web page.

I'm testing some new templates...these problems are not universal and I have to figure out why they happened to a very few people. I suspect a CSS mismatch.

I will return to the normal layout tonight and work on it during the week during off hours.

It's more than that for me. It's about one third of the page.

I am having a similar problem as Milo, with the left side of the pages missing. After reading the article linked below about previous problems, I got the idea to try changing screen resolutions. After changing my screen resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768 the layout showed up correctly. it still gets a little cut off if I'm not viewing full screen, and FF with the IE Tab extension turned on shows the page correctly at both resolutions.  Hope this helps diag. the problem.

using:
FF 1.5.0.4
IE Tab 1.0.9

ps the same thing happens in Thunderbird. I think they both use the same engine for web content but thought I would mention it anyway.

Milo..system specs please...

FF 1.5.0.4.
800x600@32 bit
Radeon x600 or x550
Windows XP with latest patches

Not sure what else you want. This started yesterday 3-4 hours before I posted it. Something must have changed at that time. I upgraded to the latest FF the day before so it isn't that... by itself. Let me know if you want anything else.
