If this is what passes for "news" on Reuters, then it's just a total no-brainer -- news reporting is dead!

http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSN0932185120071109

BERLIN (Reuters) - A German man forgot his car after filling it up at a petrol station, police said Friday.

"He just forgot about it and walked off home," said a spokesman for police in the western city of Wuppertal.

After the car had sat blocking the pump for about an hour, a woman working at the petrol station became suspicious and alerted authorities.

Officers contacted the 63-year-old from Remscheid, who came straight back to fetch the vehicle. He had paid to fill up the car before walking off.

In fact, reporting that this is not news is just about as boring as Reuters.  Never mind.  Roll Eyes

I agree with KD. I hate having my time wasted with dog bites man 'stories'. I also find the Reuters Server to be one of the slowest we have to deal with on a regular basis. It even slows DU loading, especially if there's a video involved. You have to wonder how/why Reuters remains a major wire service.

I don't mind this type of story if it's genuinely funny.  It adds spice to the news.  That said, this one is just about another sad Alzheimer's case.
