Inspired by a movie I just saw, The Confederate States of America, which showed (at the end) some real ads from days past.

A picture of the real Darky Toothpaste, circa 1900s - 1980s. Primarily sold overseas, the name was changed to Darlie. However, in Asia it still sells as "Black Man Toothpaste."

There is an ad shown on local and saudi tv here in the UAE.  I cant get the exact words as it is in arabic.  However it is easy to understand what they are saying.  They have a cream out here that is for bleaching your skin think it is called "My Fair Lady"  what a name!!!

Any way the ad is of a TV reporter doing a report and then the female arab director says something to some else and I assume it is "she is too dark" !!!!! And the she hears this and is upset, not outraged just upset about her skin tone.  Don't forget that all the time these are arabic actors performing an Arabic advert!!!!

It goes on to show her using the cream and then at the end she is a pale faced arab filiming a news report.  At the end of this report the male director says "great, brilliant" and asks her out on a date!

And everyone lives happily ever after just cos she has white skin!

haha.... that sounds really funny.  You've got to capture that and put it on youtube or something.

There is a club that has a BBQ every year, and they place an advert for it...
Cant remember the name, but the servings are
Rocky moutain oyster,
Prairie oysters,
Montana tenderloin,

The last add that had, was Broadcast on TV...It had a Animated bull asking you to Eat his Balls= Rocky noutain oysters...

There as recently been a bit of a debate about the ad and it seems to of been pulled!  Still it took a while before any one figured how bad it was.

I dunno, I think this one gives Vodka a bad name.

One I liked from LONG ago, was a Subaru BRAT commercial..
It adverted that the BACK seat was for the mother Inlaw.
Sence it was a Mini Truck, the seats were in the BED of the truck.
