More transparency would certainly be nice. But, did anyone really think that big corporate media would allow a true outsider to be elected? Obama is a mainstream politician with very centrist views. I hope he will give us greater transparency than we had. I hope he will alleviate some of the severe degradation of the nation caused by passed administrations, especially the most recent one. However, to hope for someone really different would be to miss the point about the politics of the nation. What did the media say about the two candidates that were really different? Unelectable. And, we the people believed them.

So, what we're left with just may be the best mainstream middle of the road candidate we've had in decades. But, let's not pretend he's something he's not. He's not radical. He's not liberal. And, he is a politician. I, for one, am just hoping for an intelligent candidate with good, albeit not perfect, views on how to turn this country around a bit and undo some of the damage.

If he is on the right side, and those REPRESENTING US, dont want such things..
I can only suggest 1 alternative..
TAKE IT TO THE PEOPLE....GIVE us the vote.  PISS off the bastards TRYING to hide..

... those REPRESENTING US ...

There's no one representing us. There hasn't been for decades. This is as close as it gets these days and I'm thrilled to have it.
