  Tactile Feedback For Holography
« on: August 09, 2009, 10:54:51 PM » by Ken in Berkeley
This looks and sounds very interesting.   Smiley

When a user touches a holographic object an airborne ultrasound tactile display gives the user's hand feedback about the object.

Read more about it and watch the video too.

This is kind of interesting technology. I've always wondered what photons feel like and now I can find out.

Talk about 1st person shooters.  On a bigger scale, perhaps this technology could be used in a very realistic paintball type game, only with real holographic bullets being fired at you.  Perhaps you would actually feel them go into your body.  Shocked

Then again, maybe the porno idea would be more fun.  Wink
