Putting a DENT in insurance..
Another AP story, but there is a chance of it happening.

I think this is a really great idea. Even if the insurers stop fighting the public option, I see no reason for their anti-trust exemption.

I love though that the insurers claim we don't need a public option because they have competition already all the while setting up local monopolies all over with their exemption in tact.

What a bunch of scum buckets!!

When we think of how bad our politicians are and worry about how much damage bureaucrats will do to the health care industry, we must remember that the managers of insurance companies are much much worse.

The problem I see, is that its NOT just the insurance companies..
ITS ALL the big firms/companies/corps..
The TOP jobs used to be paid from End of year profits.  NOT salary, or Commission AND salary.

The old way USED to be that those in higher positions, DIDNT call more people to fill in on a job, THEY jumped in to do it when someone was sick or ill, fired or QUIT..until they got another person to do the job.
And managers didnt get much more then those JUST below them.
The only place you see this NOW, is on the bottom and lower levels of employment.

Watching DELTA airlines over the years has Sickened me to what the TOP does to employees.(look it up) AS well as their irresponsible handling of the business at the bottom end.  When the baggage handlers go thru all the luggage and steal STUFF, and loose your Luggage.
I see companies MAKING second and 3rd, COPIES of themselves.  Just to prove they have competition.
Iv watched DEREGULATION, for businesses, that DIDNT need to be PROFIT MONGERING IDIOTS, that turned a business AWAY from its Core job and Into the STOCK MARKET to make more money , which only ened up PAYING those at the top.
