And to think that MS BOUGHT OUT a Anti virus company, AS WELL as had their OWN AV programs..and what happened?? Can you say, "hand me a gun Ralph, Im going to shoot me in the head".

Remember that most computer software upgrades are pretty much " Bug compatible" across all versions. The same goes for hardware, look at all the baked in modes in x86 processors that are there for all eternity to provide compatibility for all the really old code that is still in use.
