BECAUSE,
the only place you could leave comments for NA, was Movio.
I' wasnt going to sign up with another service to "BEAT THEM OVER THE HEAD"
THEY didnt need another service that was ALREADY available..

Smart people..
How many services have you "signed up" with?
How many do you REMEMBER the password?  YOU,, NOT THE COMPUTER..( I can do most of mine, its a logarithm based on the site name)(wouldnt that be cool, a program that takes 4 numbers from you to create Log's for EACH site, Even after you CRASH, you can insert the numbers and it comes back?)
SOCIAL SITES??  ALL my info is a LIE..
more protection from the NET, then any others.

Ah, tired. I have 4 each 7 3/4" x  5" spiral college ruled notebooks with password. I keep About 5 passwords in head for current sites.

Create a strong password protected TrueCrypt volume (I gave it 125 MB in case I wanted to store some data) and then create a text file in it with all your passwords.  Then if you like use TrueCrypt to create a flash drive with the volume and decryption tools on it in case your HDD dies or you want to visit another machine.  You've got two copies of your passwords, one of which will run on any Windows machine XP or beyond.

If you want a strong password check out Steve Gibson's site... my trick is to have a template and then a date mixed in to make it easier to remember but harder to crack.

That's a good idea.  As an old cryptographer and implementer of the DES on ancient equipment, I have several myself.  Most of 'em, I just let FireFox remember.  But the sites that take money I usually type one in.  GRC's perfect passwords page is a very good one.  It protects just about everything wireless I own.  And you've got to cut and paste 63 byte garbage passwords into a file and save them, or you'll never get them back.  Just make sure you remember your TrueCrypt password and make it as strong as memory will allow.  Or just pick the first sentence out of one of the 1,000 books you own and mix in a bunch of dates you'll never forget.  Don't forget which book it is!

Hey Adam,
This is my first post, I listen to every episode.  I thought this was important enough to join the forum.  For the past 12 days or so I have not seen a single chemtrial in the skies here in Santa Fe NM.  However before that I saw 15 or 20 chemtrials almost on a daily basis for as long as I can remember.  They do the typical thing and spread out to form cloud cover.  I think this is so unusual that I must say something...... what's up with this?

A trick with passwords looks like this..

HOW many characters can you use?

Numbers?  there arent enough
If you can only use Alpha, its abit restrictive.

Lets take a 4 digit combo.

4 digits with numbers only is 10,000 combination's.
10^4

With alpha (LOWERCASE) 456,976 combination's..
26^4, Just 2.4 times the charactors and you get 45 times the combination's.

Alpha Upper lower case..8,503,056 combination's.
52^4 double the Characters and we get 20 times the combination's.

Adding in numbers  isnt even double so lets get to the point here.

Adding in SPECIAL BASIC CHARACTORS, Standard FONT set..of 128/255.
128^4=    268,435,456
255^4= 4,228,250,625

The problem is that MANY programs use control characters that YOU SHOULD USE.  But if this was taken as a TXT/CHAR# read format, it wouldnt be a problem.

Anyone that implements this will make TONS of money.
NO one wants to create a password more then about 6-8 characters..

Since no one else has answered your question, I will ask you a question. Are you suggesting that jet aircraft high altitude condensation trails are in fact loaded with some sort of chemicals for some experimental purpose?

If so, there are several conspiracy theories on this subject. I heard some of these while still an active commercial driver, and both listened to and discussed same over the CB Radio while under way at night somewhere in the middle of this continent!
Certain  retired air force types that were also driving commercially those nights, were of two minds over this. They had in some cases seen KC 137 Tankers at a Kansas AFB being washed out after having flown some sort of mission by workers wearing total hazmat suits. They speculated that it was either a cloud seeding effort to create rain, or a more clandestine project to attempt to make a local population very docile with some sort of trace pharmaceuticals.
One of these speculators had been of some considerable rank before retirement, and had attempted to get the low down during a reunion from a buddy who was still active and now much higher up in rank and thought to be in charge of that base where the observations had been made from in full view of the questioners home just off base limits! His efforts were totally ignored and stonewalled! And yes one of the participants in those conversations mentioned the situation as occurring in New Mexico, as well.
REMEMBER THIS IS ALL HEAR SAY, AND I NEVER MET OR SAW THESE GUYS FACE TO FACE! ie. you do the math!
It is definitely in the Conspiracy Theory case file material!

I typically use passwords of 14-28 characters (but I type fast) that change with the site I'm visiting.  If not too secure conscious, I use 63 bytes from Steve Gibson's perfect password page, and let Firefox remember them with a 36 byte master password which includes letters, numbers and special characters that I find easy to remember.

For ultra-secure passwords, I encrypt a file containing the 63 byte random passwords on a TrueCrypt volume with a 28 byte password.  That seems to be good enough.  Just cut and paste.  My bank requires no fewer than 5 pieces of information to login, including a password and a pin.  It's a PITA to log in, but it sure is secure.

tHATS NICE, BUT THE RESTRICTION IS THE kEYBOARD..

An A=A no mater the encryption.
Let me ask it this way..
If you could input 24 charactors long, but you could only use 4 charactors (1234-abcd-qwer)=281,474,976,710,656

OR 12 charactors long using 128 charactors..=19,342,813,113,834,066,795,298,816..

ps.
The KEYBOARD is a 8 bit interface.  NOW, if you could get it to 32bit...we could have 16 million DIFFERENT combination's..

WHICH would be cool.
