Supreme Court Ruling Religion Can't Be Used To As A Reason To Refuse To Marry Ga

Is anyone really surprised?  How many times did we hear arguments that this would never happen?

Supreme Court Ruling Religion Cannot Be Used To As A Reason To Refuse To Marry Gay Couples

The surprising thing is that with Canada just a bit to our North, the U.S. continues to be so backward with most states still not even allowing gay marriage and pharmacists (allegedly people of science, i.e. chemistry) being allowed to deny people birth control if it is against their idiotic religion. Talk about a position in which you should get another job if your religion prevents you from doing your duty. What next? I'm sorry I can't fill that prescription for insulin; have you heard of the healing power of crystals?

When will the U.S. decide that the 11th century wasn't actually the good ole days?

I can't believe I was only smart enough to know I should but not smart enough to actually move to Canada after the 2004 "election". Keep showing us the way Canada, maybe we'll pay attention some day.

Notes of correction if I may.
-it was the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal not the Federal Supreme Court of Canada, which if these idiots may want to proceed to will just cost us tax payers even more money!
-it was a ruling on a PROPOSED LAW which was asked for by the Saskatchewan Provincial Legislature, not an enacted law
-if you read/watch more news from North of the 49th, it is not always a greener pasture! Too often there are occurrences here in Canada that mirror what happens in America, and make logical thinkers scratch their heads in disbelief!
While your current focus is on the gross ugliness that occurred in Arizona, we had an RCMP officer video taped kicking a man twice in the face while performing an arrest in Kelowna, B.C. After all of the cases of misconduct in recent months by RCMP, it makes you wonder what are the training standards and supervision of our Federal Force doing! Our societies are not progressing as desired on many levels! As in all cases, there is far more to each story. In Kelowna, the arrested man was reported for shooting a shot gun on a golf course. It turns out that he was hired to do this to scare off Canada Geese [there were at least 2 laws broken in that] and the individual in question was also supposed to be off his job due to brain damage in a motorcycle accident. Again this man was driving a pick up truck, and had stopped for the police, and was video taped complying with police requests, SLOWLY! With private citizens able to make cell phone videos of police in action, like that infamous case in the Vancouver Airport, it is a different era that many people in all walks of life have not come to grips with! That RCMP is suspended pending an inquiry, the arrested man is still in jail on firearms charges, and will the golf course get charged? I doubt it!

What are you worrying for? You are not getting out of this life alive, dead don't hurt, getting there might, and in some cases, damn well should!
Plus during and after the next Ice Age, all of this infrastructure around us won't matter squat!
